The Saint Aptitude Test is a comprehensive, one hundred-question exam administered to all Saint University students prior to graduation. The instrument covers a myriad of key topics integral to the understanding of land use politics: zoning, planning, legal doctrine, environmental issues, and governmental procedures. The exam also tests knowledge of various industry issues and the application of various political concepts in the land use arena.
The test was developed over a number of class years by Saint University professors, administrators, and graduates. Questions were designed and submitted by practitioners, industry experts, and attorneys; the final exam was reviewed by experienced educators to ensure the integrity of the instrument.
Saint Consulting staff are required to take the exam and achieve a score of 80% or better in order to be considered for field operations as a project manager. Aside from being expert in advanced political and grassroots techniques, it is essential that a practitioner in this field also demonstrates mastery of the elements of land use and real estate development.
